The Desborough Desire

On behalf of The Northampton Transport Heritage Group, we'd like thank everyone who supported our running day at Hamilton Coaches on Saturday.

We hope you all enjoyed the selection of buses we used and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

The 2 Way Specialty

On Saturday 3rd February, 2 Way Transport will be hosting a running day.

The day will start with a pick up at 10:20am from Lakeside Retail Park and a second pick up will be made at 10:30am from outside Scunthorpe railway station to return by 17:00 approximately.

For a full days travel aboard this running day the fare has been set at an amazing £15 per person which is payable on the day.

The main aim during this running day will be to visit their depot and to use no less than 7 of the following vehicles: W163RFX, W166RFX, X152LBJ, Y168FEL, Y173FEL, Y174FEL, HJ02WDK, HJ02WDL, HJ02WDM, HF03AEG, HJ52VFW, HJ52VFX and HJ52VFZ.

All advertised vehicles are subject to on the day and we hope to see as many of you as possible during this running day.

The Harpurs Hurrah

On Saturday 10th March, we have arranged a visit to Harpurs Coaches of Derby.

The day will start with a pick up at 10:30am from Derby Railway Station and a second pick up will be made at 10:35am from outside Millets on Morledge (opposite Derby Bus Station) to return by 17:00 approximately.

For a full days travel aboard this running day the fare has been set at an bargain £10 per person which is payable on the day.

The main aim during this tour will be to visit their depot and to use all 4 remaining Olympian's S851DGX, V351DJU, V370DJU and X912LUT.

We are also hoping to use a selection of other vehicles which will be chosen from: X811DDA, X423PFE, X424PFE, MX55HHM and MX55HHN.

The South Yorkshireman

On Saturday 24th March, we have arranged a visit to Powells Coaches of Hellaby.

The day will start with a pick up at 9:45am from Alsing Road opposite Meadowhall Interchange and a second pick up will be made at 10:25am from outside The Leopard pub on West Street in Doncaster (near rail station) to return by 17:30 approximately.

For a full days travel aboard this running day the fare has been set at an bargain £10 per person which is payable on the day.

Our main aim during this tour will be to visit the Powells depot in Hellaby and to use no less than 8 different vehicles from their school bus fleet.

The current school bus fleet comprises of the following vehicles:

The Merseyside Meander

On Saturday 2nd June, we are planning a tour of various bus and coach operators in and around the Merseyside area.

The day will start with a pick up from outside St.Georges Hall (opposite Liverpool Lime Street railway station) at 10:30am and we will be aiming to return everyone back to the railway station for 17:00 approximately.

For a full days travel on board this bus depot tour the fare has been set at an amazing £15 per person payable on the day.

Can we ask that everyone brings along a hi-viz as these will be required to enter some of the premises.
